thy will be done
“Thy will be done”
What a simple phrase, yet it is so hard to say sometimes. I find my myself praying this often, mostly when I am out and about during the day.
* I see a new mother with her newborn at target*
“ I know you hear the deepest desires of my heart Lord, thy will be done”
* I see a pregnant mom at church who is radiating the joy that carrying life brings*
“ I know you also desire joy for me Lord, thy will be done”
* I see a Pinterest perfect baby announcement, on a day that has been emotionally hard*
“ I know that You are good... even in the midst of my pain & sadness, thy will be done”
Sometimes this prayer is said silently or inbetween sobs, it is not always easy to pray this. Letting go of your life & letting God’s will happen is very challenging, but I know that His ways are higher than my ways. He will work everything out for good, even if I can’t see that now.
